To Sew a Field of Stars
Sire a New World
To Sew a Field of Stars is an adult city-builder RPG, with themes of myth, incest, and pregnancy.
By the winter, it will have been two decades since humanity had last borne children. Now, the crops are beginning to succumb to the same disease that ails mankind, withering without bearing seed. Outside of your small village, the realm grows ever more desperate...
Take on the role of Wulf, living with his family at the end of the world. Destiny has thrust a duty upon you, as the last son of man. Guide your family, and repopulate this earth. Be fruitful, multiply, and lead your people to greatness.
The project is in a very, very early state, but we'd love to hear what you think.
Important Notes:
Save compatibility is a big priority for me. Please send a bug report if you encounter any save corruption or incompatibility issues. No promises, but I'd like your saves to work all the way from release zero to the final build.
Relatedly: If you're playing the web version, make sure your browser isn't set to clear your data. Maybe even copy your saves out of your browser profile just in case. I'm looking at developing an export to desktop option for saves in one of the next releases, but it's not in yet!

I know this still in development but here some feedback to improve the game.
The story is really good and well-developed but the only lacking is the illustration backing it off, I don't demand much so you can build it like typical visual novel with character wiggling around in a background. And the game would be more immersive if the character can express themselves and talk with animated mouth, it seems troublesome but believe me, you can do it just by draw 4-5 variants of the same sprite and alternate them back and forth
Secondly the H scene, yeah, still face the same problem with the illustration one, they are static which make the game feels monotonous. Again, you can easily improve them by adding cum afterward or something, it's not time-consuming or complicated (maybe I'm wrong here cuz I just play on Helfride route only)
And the gameplay, it's well-done... nothing to complain. But I would like a manual Save button instead of Auto, it puts me at ease.
Anyway, it's a W game and a truly hidden gem. You for sure can sell this if you finish polishing the detail and coloring the sketch.
alright finally tried out all first wife routes.
so far my fav is tied between Runa and Saga. not sure who i'll opt for first on my canon run, but the other will come just after for sure. for Runa it's pretty obvious it's because she's Maternal with a capital M. even in the sack. for Saga, it's say it's because she's clearly MC's best friend. niether of those relationship types can go wrong unless wulf outright betrays them. which i won't let happen! :P
third place belongs to Ranhilde. she seems like a fun character both in doing shit with, and fun to tease till she's red in the face.
fourth place belongs to Frauke. but she's kinda sitting at a neutral for me with neither positive or negative things about her.
thus far my least fav is the mother. oddly enough i thought i would've liked her more than Runa or Saga. but something inside me seems to be screaming [red flags everywhere] with her. especially with how her actions contradict her words, and how secretive she is about her past. somehow i wouldn't be surprised if she knows more about Aska than she mentioned. or has some direct connection to her that she's just not saying.
and speaking of our current possible antagonist Aska, why do i get the feeling that what's his face's claim that Aska is Wulf's triplet sibling has some possible merit. like say if the mother was supposed to have triplets but one of the babies died before or after birth or some such.
Ignore the other guy. Big boobs are cool
rude, still i don't disagree. though big is a rather large understatement with current sizes. huge to the point in some cases where they are bigger than wulf's head is more the case here. to majority of people US D cups are considered big.
also just realized something else bugs me possibly more than the sizes. the areolas taking up one third to nearly half their freaking breasts... that right there is another niche that many would find unappealing (like myself).
you may want to reduce the breast sizes a bit. generally what seems to be most attractive is around USA B to D cup or japan's C to F cup range.
at the current time of this comment the breast sizes are well into or maybe even past US H, japan J cup range. which is... gonna be hit or miss depending on the crowd. and considering this is a cest pregnancy game. your crowd is already gonna be limited. imo it's better to have the focus only those two niches and not bogged down by a third or more.
also you should consider posting your game to F95zone. just to help gain more fans and player base.
ty for the bug report, fix enclosed :D
lol, i guess that's one way to handle it. though that's some Saga level of small right there. LOL
btw for some real game bugs:
in early script (specifically new player intro, and rare occasion after that) Runa's bust description doesn't match her size, or maybe better said flip flops from one description to another.
also got a rare bug that i can't replicate that soft locked the game on me. it involved starting a new game, skipping the intro, and then right after choosing who you want as the first wife, the text box and UI utterly disappeared on me before it was supposed to. like how it does in the item menu to allow the player to see the character art. my best guess is that somehow playing with the fogwall triggered that feature. odd thing is i can't make it happen again. and quitting and restarting fixed it.
also random suggestions:
have the resource number boxes at top have a green/red +/- numbers next to them to signify your income and if your going negative on any resource.
the ability to build bridges instead of watermills.
the ability to build roads on wall sections, at the cost of enemy aggro possibly being directed to it.
a gallery feature accessible both in the main menu, and in-game menu.
